This is not an exhaustive list, but only exists to give a bit of detail on the largest, and most influential, cities in Sergonia. Banner houses would have their own small piece of land and would have surrounding villages. Characters can be from one of these large cities, from the lands of a banner house, or from a town of village far removed from their leige lord's eye. A town, no matter where it is, will always fall under the rule of one of the High houses, so keep that in mind when creating a place for your character to be from.
- Ulrich: The four seasons reign here; however, it rains through most of the spring, fall, and winter. Ulrich is the largest city in Sergonia, and boasts the royal House, the largest Academy, and trade to rival all other of the High House's homes combined. The majority of food available comes from the sea, but livestock is not so uncommon. Trade with Moorcastle provides a steady stream of farm goods to the people of Ulrich.
- Swyncliff: The jungles are dense, and will swallow one whole should they dare wander too far from the cut paths.. The city is secluded, and rarely sees visitors or inward coming trade. They are self sufficient; surviving off the bountiful array of goods the jungle has to offer. They do export, however. The herbs, toxins, and exotic fauna found there are prized among the other cities. News is always late to Swyncliff, and they approach most political situations guardedly because of it.
- Southmere: On the cusp of a desert and rolling plains, the cracked ground and small, red rivers that flow through the layered rocks, are all that is left of the long ago dried up lake that fathered this city's name. This city is the chief supplier of fine jewels, crystals, and gold. Trade comes and goes via caravans which take it Northeast toward the cities of Moorcastle, Ulrich, or Lornesse, or to the East toward the coast, where it will board ships to be taken to the cities of Shadston or Swyncliff.
- Moorcastle: The rolling, green sea of the Tnarem plains and shallow, wide rivers that cut snaking paths through the continent are where Moorcastle is settled. The rivers are not deep enough for large ships to tread, but barges are common enough, and trade via caravan is even more common with Ulrich only being a few days ride to the West. This keep is constructed mostly of wood traded from Shadston, and is the youngest of all the cities. The majority of Moors live outside the keep walls, on farms and ranches that cover the plains.
- Lornesse: They say that the people of Lornesse's pale features have come about due to the bleak white-stone mountains in which they live. The Lornessian mountains are cold, and the winters are harsh, but the summer's blooms are the most beautiful things a pair of eyes can behold. A mountain city, built into the cliffs themselves, Lornesse is much like Ulrich in its aesthetics. As the chief supplier of metals and weapons, this city has its hands in affairs of war and peace, despite it being far removed from its sister cities.
- Shadston: The game is rich, and the lumber richer in the forests of Shadston. This city, like it's closest counterparts, Ulrich and Moorcastle, sees it's fair share of all the seasons. The summers here are longer, however, and tend to be dryer, leaving the city and surrounding forest at risk for fires in the hottest months. The Shadston people are proud, and military-minded. The largest military host of all the houses, save for Alveston, belongs to House Beringar of Shadston. Trade is plentiful, with a deep river leading to the sea only miles to the West, and the lumber Shadston provides, builds structures and goods all across Sergonia.
